MTBikepacking. What the heck is that? Mountain Bike Backpacking or Backpacking via Bicycle. Also known as bikepacking, adventure cycling, or off-road cycle touring. Throw your full backpack in a trailer and start riding.

Why? Why? Why?
Why wouldn't I just go backpacking for a trip? With bike packing you can see more faster, but not so fast as to miss the experience - as in a car.
If you have to average 30 miles a day riding then you can hang out at a pristine lakeside campground longer or jet through the hot dry desert to a shadier place. Some days we did 5 lazy miles with up to 85 to escape the Great Divide Basin in Wyoming. Truth be told - hiking and backpacking IS the ultimate true way to experience the outdoors (God bless those CDT hikers). Don't forget, you spend more time dead than alive.
